Happy not so new year. I know 2009 is going to be good because I started it off right. I woke up at 5am New Year’s Day because I had just spilled the beer I had fallen asleep holding all over myself. No, I didn’t fall asleep drink-in-hand because I was shitfaced New Year’s Eve. I was simply tired from driving 8 hours to the wedding of a couple close friends, also the Moral Oral marathon wasn’t really holding my attention.
I have some goals for the new year. I won’t talk about the list for 2008 I found while moving. This time I’m really motivated.
I will move to NYC in July.
I will save money in order to move.
I will go to FIT in the fall.
I will get back into jewelry making and get an etsy shop.
I will walk my dogs almost every day, Buddy too. (had to add the “almost” because I don’t want to BS here)
I will be more physically active than I have been since high school. (any amount of physical activity will accomplish this goal)
I will attempt to rid myself of the double chin that shows up in pictures taken with a flash. (attempt)
I will become a vegetarian that actually eats vegetables on a regular basis. (like Popeye, I need spinach)
I will keep up the improv and the blogging. (piece of cake)
I will stay positive and be nice to myself. (easier than I thought)
I will have so much fun in 2009! (like, duh!)
Your list of goals is similar to mine… but I’m not moving to New York and I don’t have a dog! Good luck with your goals… may we both continue with them past January!
Hooray for goals. I don’ t think I have created any goals for the year so far, so you are way ahead of me! Looks like it’s going to be a good year for you!
Also, Bonnaroo with me this summer. I wrote it down in my planner already.
